I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph a friend's wedding this month. They didn't want a formal wedding album, but rather one that was more candid. I really enjoyed being able to photograph what I felt was the essence of the day, noticing the little things that happened as I wandered around. I remember my wedding day seemed to go in a bit of a blur and it is often the small details that get missed.
The flowers looked fabulous so I managed to capture a good selection of shots of the lovely floral displays that had been created.
I love to people watch too so captured groups chatting, dozing in the sun, enjoying the buffet and playing games in the garden.
Yes, I did capture the bride and groom on their own and with their families, but I also hope to have captured the fun of the day too!
